MEMPHIS, Tenn. - University of Memphis women's soccer head coach Brooks Monaghan announced Monday that Tine Schryvers has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Lady Tigers.

We were fortunate to add Tine this spring and it's great to have a little time to work with her before the fall," Monaghan said. "Tine has a lot of potential, but she has a bit to learn to adapt to the style of play here. She has a very good soccer mind and I think she will have a bright future here."

Schryvers played for Leonardo Lyceum, the top sport school in Antwerp, Belgium, during her prep career. A native of Zoersel, Antwerp, Belgium, Schryvers is currently playing for the Belgium Under-19 squad at the European Championships being played in Portugal.

"Anytime you can add a player with international experience it's great," Monaghan said." We have several kids who have played for their country and they are all very strong players for us. That experience goes a long way."
