MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Reaching the midway point of the spring schedule, the University of Memphis women's soccer team continues the slate as Alabama visits Mike Rose Soccer Complex for a 7 p.m. match against the Lady Tigers.

"We are continuing to make progress as we go along," head coach Brooks Monaghan said. "My goal for this spring is for this team to get better with each game. I think this team continues to improve and we are finding players to fill holes left by the graduating seniors. We have players gaining confidence who didn't get minutes last year. We are moving in the right direction and I hope we continue that with this game against Alabama."

Memphis is coming off a 3-0 victory against Vanderbilt on Saturday. Christabel Oduro returned last week from a stint with the Canadian National Team and Tine Schryvers continues to play in Portugal for the U19 European Championships. Schryvers will return next week to give Memphis a full roster for the final two games of spring.

Following Wednesday's game, Memphis will play Ole Miss on Tuesday, April 10 before closing the spring season with a match against Samford on April 14 in Decatur, Ala.
