MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The University of Memphis soccer programs will hold its Advanced Goalkeeper Camp on Monday, June 8 through Friday, June 12 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. each day. The camp will take place at the soccer practice fields at the U of M South Campus facility at the corner of Getwell Rd. and Park Ave.

The U of M Advance Goalkeeper Camp will provide intensive training for goalkeepers in the area. This camp will offer specific training in every single aspect of goalkeeping as well as speed and agility training to cope with the demands of being a top goalkeeper. The quality of the coaching staff and the professional environment make this camp a distinctive learning experience.

The coaching staff includes women's soccer head coach Brooks Monaghan, assistant coach Jodi Grant and goalkeeper coach Sebastian Vecchio. Monaghan has been the head coach of the Lady Tigers since 2000 and has racked up an impressive record of 94-74-11 including two regular season C-USA co-championships and back-to-back C-USA Tournament Titles during his tenure. In goal at U of M, Monaghan played in 61 matches, third most all-time and recorded a goals against average of 1.40. Women's soccer goalkeeper coach Sebastian Vecchio holds the best goals against average of any keeper in Memphis history with a 1.02 GAA over 33 games.
