TAMPA, Fla. - Five members of the University of Memphis women's soccer program recently punched their ticket to the W-League semifinal match, which is set to take place Friday, July 26 at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.

Junior Kylie Davis, sophomore Marissa Duguay and incoming freshmen Valerie Sanderson, Maryse Bard-Martel and McKenzie Bricker are members of the Laval Comets, a team based in Laval, Quebec, Canada. The Comets recently took down the Ottawa Fury, defending W-League national champion, Saturday in Laval with a 5-4 advantage in penalty kicks to claim the Central Conference Championship.

No. 1 seed Laval (8-1-3) will take on No. 4 Carolina Elite (5-4-1) on Friday at 4 p.m. CT in Bradenton. Last year's W-League runner-up and No. 2 seed, Pali (8-2-2), and No. 3 Washington (7-3-2), will face off in the other semifinal match at 1 p.m. A consolation match will be held Sunday at 11 a.m. with the championship match to follow at 2 p.m.

Both semifinal matches and the championship and consolation matches will be available live on USL Live on UNATION.
