MEMPHIS, Tenn.- The Memphis women's soccer team will play Western Kentucky in their first preseason home match tomorrow, Saturday, Aug. 31, at 6 p.m. , at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex.

The Lady Tigers opened up their preseason last weekend with a match against the University of Auburn. Memphis lost in the last minutes with a final score of 2-1. The Lady Tigers were lead by freshman Ashley Berra, who was the only Memphis player to score a goal. Freshman goalkeeper Elise Kuhar-Pitters opened up in goal and had an impressive game with eight saves, despite the two scored goals.

Western Kentucky is coming off a 2-1 win in its exhibition opener against Tennessee Tech on Thursday evening. The match up against Western Kentucky will be Memphis's last preseason game, before entering regular season play.

The Lady Tigers are back in action Friday, Aug. 31, at 5:30 p.m. at Mike Rose Soccer Complex, as they open up regular season play against the University of Arkansas-Little Rock.
