The Lady Tiger soccer team suffered a 2-0 setback to the Saint Louis Billikens on Friday night at Mike Rose Soccer Complex and look to respond on Sunday afternoon as the Lady Tigers welcome Evansville for a 1:30pm kick-off.

“We have got to get our confidence and desire back but it’s really just about finding our game again,” said head coach Brooks Monaghan. “It’s not about stepping on the field because we are Memphis. We have to step on the field and do something. I am anxious how we respond tomorrow.”

The Lady Tigers will wrap-up the non-conference schedule with the Purple Aces who are the defending Missouri Valley Conference champions. Evansville enters tomorrow’s match with a record of 2-5 after defeating Troy 2-1 in an overtime thriller Friday night. Memphis returns to Mike Rose Soccer Complex after failing to get on the scoreboard Friday. The Lady Tigers out-shot the Billikens but couldn’t manage to get shots past the SLU keeper. Memphis will look for more opportunities to score against an Evansville team that is being outshot 142-60 this season.

Admission to Sunday's match is free. Fans not able to make it to Mike Rose Soccer Complex for the match can watch live streaming video of the match on the all-access page of www.gotigersgo.com.
