MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Lady Tiger soccer (2-4-1, 0-2-0 C-USA) will take on its second SEC opponent of the 2001 season when the Vanderbilt Commodores (1-4) visit Echles Field for a 7 p.m. match on Wednesday night.

The match - Memphis' first-ever against Vandy - would have been the Lady Tigers' third pairing with an SEC team this season, but their contest with Mississippi St. was cancelled in the wake of national tragedy. Memphis did, however, reschedule its match with Ole Miss, a 1-0 Lady Tiger victory on Sept. 17.

The Lady Tigers are looking to reverse an 0-2 weekend to open Conference USA play last weekend before hosting C-USA teams DePaul and Cincinnati this weekend
