MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Freshman defender Marissa Duguay hauled in her first career weekly accolade as CollegeSoccer360.com (CS360) placed her on the Primetime Performer’s Weekly Honor Roll for week six games.

Duguay helped Memphis to a 2-1 overtime win against No. 6 UCF, the Lady Tigers first-ever win against a top-10 foe. With Duguay in a center-back role, the U of M defense held the Knights to seven shots, just two on goal. UCF averaged 15 shots a game entering Friday’s match.

With the win, Memphis defeated UCF on the home field for the first time. In four previous meetings, two were overtime losses for the U of M and the 2010 meeting ended in a tie.

Duguay is the fifth player in program history to earn CS360 Primetime Performer accolades. Kylie Davis picked up TopDrawerSoccer.com Team of the Week honors and Conference USA Co-Offensive Player of the Week honors to give Memphis three different awards this week.

Memphis (6-3-0, 2-0-0 C-USA) hosts East Carolina (6-4-0, 2-0-0 C-USA) on Friday at 7 p.m. at Mike Rose Soccer Complex to continue the six-game homestand. The Lady Tigers face Marshall (5-5-0, 1-1-0 C-USA) on Sunday at 1 p.m.
