MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Two goals and three assists in two games last week earned junior forward Christabel Oduro multiple weekly honors including Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.

Oduro, also named the C-USA Player of the Week by CollegeSportsMadness.com, scored the game-winning goal in the Lady Tigers 2-0 win over East Carolina on Friday. In Sunday’s 7-1 win over Marshall, Oduro tallied three assists and added her ninth goal of the season. The Brampton, Ontario, native was named to the TopDrawerSoccer.com National Team of the Week as well.

With seven points over the weekend, Oduro climbed to fourth in the career points ledger with 74. She also tied Shoko Mikami for fourth in career goals with 28. Oduro has 12 of her 28 career goals against C-USA foes and 10 of her 18 career assists have come against league opponents. The game-winner against East Carolina marked her fifth in league-play and ninth of her career.

This is the fourth time Oduro has been named C-USA Offensive Player of the Week and she appears on the TopDrawerSoccer.com National Team of the Week for the second time in her career. Oduro is the third player to receive C-USA Player of the Week honors this season.
