MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Lady Tigers of the University of Memphis open up Conference USA play, as they host the Blazers of UAB on Friday, October 5. The match is slated for a start time of 7 p.m. It will be televised by CSTV, with a tape delay airing on Sunday, October 7, at 7 p.m. CT.

Memphis is on a five game winning streak, the longest in school history. Going into the match up they are undefeated at home posting a 5-0 record. Last year, Memphis beat UAB, 4-2, in regular season play. The two teams met again in the semifinals of the Conference USA tournament, where the match went into a penalty kick shootout, resulting in a UAB win, 4-2.

Junior Kylie Hayes is on a roll, scoring at least one goal in the Lady Tigers last three matches. She is five goals away from being the all time leader in career record goals.

Memphis has had ten different ladies score goals this season. They rank second in the conference in goals made and have four ladies in the Conference USA top 10 in goals.

The match will also be available on Gametracker.
