Christabel Oduro Named to TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Helping Memphis to a fifth-straight Conference USA Tournament Championship, forward Christabel Oduro was named to TopDrawerSoccer’s National Team of the Week on Monday, the fifth national accolade on a weekly basis this season.
Oduro, the C-USA Tournament Offensive MVP, a goal and two assists in the three matches of the C-USA Tournament. The Brampton, Ontario, Canada, native had the go-ahead goal against UTEP in the final and provided the assist on the golden goal in the 103rd minute. Oduro placed eight shots on frame in the tournament for a .533 shots on goal percentage.
Memphis awaits the announcement of the NCAA Tournament field to find out their next opponent and game site. The selection show begins at 3:30 p.m. and can be seen at www.ncaa.com .
