MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Following a fourth-straight Conference USA Championship, senior midfielder Vendula Strnadova earned TopDrawerSoccer.com National Team of the Week honors as announced by TopDrawerSoccer on Monday.

With 10 shots in the C-USA Tournament this weekend, Strnadova was named the C-USA Tournament Offensive MVP. The Las Cruces, N.M., native, assisted Christabel Oduro on the game-winner in Friday’s 1-0 semifinal victory over Houston and on Sunday, Strnadova struck with six shots as Memphis claimed its fourth-straight C-USA Championship with a 1-0 victory over UCF.

Strnadova is the third Lady Tiger to receive the honors this season and the fourth player in program history to receive the national recognition from TopDrawerSoccer.com.

The Lady Tigers await the NCAA Tournament selection show today at 3:30 p.m. (CT) to determine their next opponent. Memphis will be making its fourth-straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
