MEMPHIS, Tenn. - University of Memphis junior defender Lizzy Simonin was tabbed one of 17 CollegeSoccer360.com Primetime Performers of the Week as announced on Tuesday.

Simonin, the C-USA Defensive Player of the Year, helped Memphis to its fourth-straight C-USA Tournament Championship last weekend. With her play at center back, Memphis posted its 10th and 11th shutout of the season. With the pair of 1-0 victories over the weekend, the Lady Tiger defense improved the single-season school-record goals-against average to 0.65.

This is the second Primetime Performer of the Week honor for Simonin and the fourth time a Lady Tiger has been recognized by CollegeSoccer360.com.

Memphis plays Oregon State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday at 5 p.m. in Stillwater, Okla.
