Memphis, Tenn. - Junior forward Ashley Berra and junior midfielder Vendula Strnadova were awarded for their performances at the C-USA Women's Soccer Championship as each were named a "Primetime Performer of the Week" by CollegeSoccer360.com (CS360).
Berra was named a CS360 Primetime Performer of the Week after posting one goal and three assists at the C-USA Tournament last weekend. The Cordova, Tenn. native, had a goal in two assists in the opening round 6-2 victory over SMU and the game-winning assist against Colorado College in the semifinal.
Strnadova tallied one goal and two assists during the C-USA Tournament to receive the CS360 Primetime Performer honor. The Las Cruces, N.M. native, scored the third goal in the 3-0 victory over ninth-ranked UCF on Sunday in the C-USA Championship match and assisted on the game-winning goal.
Berra and Strnadova lead Memphis into its third-straight NCAA Tournament appearance against No. 22 Texas A&M on Friday, November 13 in Baton Rouge, La. Match time is set for 4 p.m. at the LSU Soccer Complex.
Tickets for the first and second rounds of the 2009 NCAA Women's Soccer Championship are on sale now at LSUSports.net. Ticket orders will be available for pick-up at Will Call. All seats at the LSU Soccer Complex are general admission. The ticket office at the LSU Soccer Complex will open at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
All-Session tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Single-Session tickets are $6 for adults, $3 for seniors and students and $1 for children ages five and under. Fans purchasing a ticket for Session 1 will receive admission to both first-round matches on Friday.
