MEMPHIS, TENN. - Memphis' junior midfielder Laura Laufenberg was named to the Soccer America National Team of the Week as announced on Tuesday, Nov. 11 by Soccer America

Laufenberg netted two scores over the weekend with the game winner against UAB on Wednesday in the first round of the C-USA Championship. She also netted a goal in the championship game against East Carolina as the Lady Tigers took home the 2008 C-USA Championship for the second year in a row with a 4-1 win over ECU on Sunday.

Laufenberg is the third Memphis player selected for this national award and the first since Ashley Berra received the award on Oct. 13, 2007.
