Kylie Davis and Diamond Simpson Tabbed NSCAA Second Team All-Central Region

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Midfielder Kylie Davis and defender Diamond Simpson were tabbed second team All-Central Region by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), the organization announced. Davis appeared in 13 of 18 matches, missing four due to injury and one due to play in the FIFA U20 World Cup. The L'lle Bizzard, Quebec, Canada native had three goals on the year, two of which were game-winning goals. Davis, a first team All-Conference USA selection, finished the regular season with 16 points, ranking second on the team. Simpson, a second team All-C-USA selection, began the season at forward, but made a seamless transition to the back at the beginning of league play. The Mississauga, Ontario, Canada native started in 17 of the 18 matches and logged every minute in nine of 11 league matches. This marks the 10th consecutive season that Memphis has had players named to the All-Central Region teams.
