Keanah Prestridge begins her first season in 2012 as a student assistant coach on the University of Memphis softball team. The Moore, Okla., native lettered two seasons with the Tigers following a standout junior college career at Seminole State College.

Prestridge ranks second in Memphis history with 24 runners thrown out in her career and has the school's second lowest career stolen base against percentage (.680). She ranks third in school history with a .987 career fielding percentage and fifth in career putouts with 506.

As a senior, Prestridge played in 29 games in 2011 and started 26 contests at catcher. She ranked second on the team in putouts with 174 and recorded seven caught stealing.

Prestridge totaled 16 runs in her two years at Memphis with 13 RBI, two home runs, two doubles and a .158 batting average. She appeared in 78 games with the Tigers and started 75 contests.

Prior to Memphis, Prestridge was a Third Team All-American in 2009 at Seminole State College and helped the Trojans finish third in the nation at the NJCAA National Tournament. She was a First Team All-Region II selection in 2009 after earning NFCA Second Team All-Region honors as a freshman in 2008.

Prestridge prepped at Moore High School in Moore, Okla., and helped the team win the state championship in 2005.


Second in all-time career caught stealing by (24) and second in lowest stolen base against percentage (.680) in school history...Has the school's third highest career fielding percentage (.987) and ranks fifth in career putouts (506).

Named a Third Team All-American as a sophomore in 2009 after helping the Seminole State Trojans finish third in the nation at the NJCAA National Tournament...Coached by Kristina McSweeney...Caught nearly every game for the Trojans in her two years at Seminole State...A First Team All-Region II in 2009 after earning NFCA Second Team All-Region honors as a freshman in 2008...As a sophomore, hit .433 with 36 RBI and 29 runs scored...Played in 53 games and totaled 68 hits with 11 doubles in 157 at bats...Led her team as a freshman with a .453 batting average and 67 runs scored, while also totaling 50 RBI, nine home runs and 16 doubles in 80 games.
