SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The final day of the UCSB Gaucho Classic has been canceled. The outfield was deemed unplayable on Sunday by the coaching staffs, umpires and trainers for safety reasons due to heavy rain that hit the area on Saturday.

The University of Memphis softball team had been scheduled to play Wisconsin and UC Santa Barbara on Sunday. The Tigers finish the tournament 1-1 after beating Drexel 5-2 and falling to North Dakota State, 6-1.

Memphis (6-4) will next compete at the USF Under Armour Invitational in Tampa, Fla., next weekend on March 5-7.
