Leila Dolfo hit her first triple of the season in the first inning. The triple is the third of her career and first since the 2006 season.
Dolfo extended her hitting streak to a personal season best of six games.
Lindsay Kelso hit her seventh home run of the season in the first inning on a two-run shot down the left field line. It is her 11th career home run and knocked in her 22nd and 23rd RBI of the season. The run is her 20th of the year and also scored Leila Dolfo's team leading 33rd run of the season.
Brittany Gooch stole her fifth base of the season in the second inning after recording an infield single to shortstop. Gooch has 16 career stolen bases.
Memphis is now 12-5 when scoring in the first inning.
The Tigers are now 18-4 when scoring first.
Gross then stole her fourth base of the season in the third inning
Lindsay Kelso stole her fourth base of the season in the second inning.
Leigh Rowan hit a two-run single up the middle in the third inning. She now has 14 RBI on the year. The hit knocked in Gross and Kelso.
Melissa Nance hit a grand slam in the third inning for her second homer of the year. It is the first grand slam hit by Memphis this season and the second in Nance's career. She now has 13 RBI on the season. The homer scored Leigh Rowan, Kailey Kassner and Maddie McKinley.
Maddie McKinley hit a two-run double in the fourth inning. The double is her second and she now has nine RBI.
Tori Gross had two singles in the game for her sixth multi-hit game of the year. She also had two runs scored, giving her 18 on the season.
Lindsay Kelso had a homer and a single in the game for her seventh multi-hit game of the season. Kelso also scored three runs and had two RBI for her fifth multi-RBI game.
Maddie McKinley had her second multi-RBI game of the season with two.
Melissa Nance had her fourth multi-RBI game of the year with a season high four RBI.
Memphis stole three bases in the game for the first time since having three against Alabama A&M on March 12.
The 10 runs are the most since scoring 16 against Alabama A&M on March 12.
The shutout is the eighth of the season for Memphis and fourth for Kimber Bossom.
Memphis is now 13-0 when scoring six runs or more.
The Tigers are 20-5 when out-hitting the opponent.
The win is the 250th career victory for Memphis head coach Windy Thees.
Memphis is now 3-0 all-time against Alcorn State.
