MEMPHIS -- Friday's Memphis softball home exhibition doubleheader with Mississippi Valley State has been cancelled due to inclement weather. No makeup dates are scheduled at this time.

Fans still have two opportunities to see the 2009-10 Tigers in action during the fall. Memphis will host a tournament with Union (Tenn.) and Northwest Mississippi Community College next Saturday, October 17, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Tiger Softball Complex.

The Tigers will then hold a Blue and Grey scrimmage on Saturday, October 31, at 10 a.m. A free one-hour softball clinic will be held after the scrimmage for children ages 12 and under. Admission is free for both weekends.
