MEMPHIS - Due to forecasted inclement weather, the University of Memphis softball team announced the postponement of Wednesday's home opening doubleheader with Alcorn State. The games will be made up on a date yet to be determined.

The Lady Tigers will next travel to Tallahassee, Fla., to participate in the Sunshine State Tournament hosted by No. 25 Florida State on Friday thru Sunday. Other teams participating in the tournament are Kansas, South Carolina and Jacksonville. The next home games scheduled for Memphis will be on Friday, Feb. 23 when the team hosts the first day of the Blues City Classic at Greenbrook Park, in Southaven, Miss.
