Tiger Softball 2008 In Game Promotions
Below is a list of promotions fans can expect to participate in at all Memphis Softball home games.
B.I.N.G.O. for BBQ
During pre-game fans will be instructed to pick up a softball B.I.N.G.O. card at the marketing table. Each square on the B.I.N.G.O. card will represent a play that could happen during the game. Fans will be able to keep track of the numbers themselves as they will be listed in the instructions on the back of the B.I.N.G.O. card. The first fan with B.I.N.G.O. will win a $20 gift certificate courtesy of Central BBQ.
Singles for Subs
For every single that the Tigers hit during the game, a name will be chosen to win a sub from Firehouse Subs.
Spotlight Youth Teams
Before selected home games or the first game of doubleheaders, scheduled youth teams 14 years and younger will be able to run out onto the field with the starters before the National Anthem.
Post Game Autographs
Following select home games, fans will have the opportunity to come onto the field and receive autographs from the Lady Tiger Softball team
Dizzy Bat Contest (During Double Headers Only)
Two (2) contestants will be chosen. Each contestant will spin around a bat (with a helmet on) and race in opposite directions of the diamond. The first contestant to run the bases and return back to home plate will receive a prize.
Tiger Survivor
Fans enter their names in an entry box before the game. At the end of the first inning, four names will be selected and announced as the Tiger Survivor participants. At the end of the second inning, a member of the marketing crew will draw a random name and each drawn name is eliminated after each inning until there is one name left, who wins the prize.
Hot and Cold (During doubleheaders only)
A selected contestant is blindfolded and spun around a few times while a prize is placed somewhere on the field. The rest of the fans will cheer louder as the fan becomes closer to the prize and softer as the contestant moves farther away.
Pocket Litter
The first person to bring the requested unique item to the press box will win a prize.
Season Ticket Holder Recognition
Before games, a selected season ticket holder will be honored and recognized in the stands with a brief introduction.
Three Run Party
Whenever the Lady Tigers score three runs in a game, a marketing staff member will throw t-shirts with sub coupons on them and other items in the crowd at the conclusion of the Lady Tigers' at- bat.
Additional promotions may be added at any point in the season. All promotions are tentative and are subject to modification or cancellation at any time.
