HOUSTON, Texas - Junior University of Memphis third baseman Maddie McKinley was named to the 2010 Conference USA Softball Championship All-Tournament Team on Saturday.

McKinley helped Memphis reach the semifinals in the tournament after upsetting No. 2-seed Tulsa in a quarterfinal match-up. The Chickamauga, Ga., native gave the Tigers a 1-0 lead with a solo home run against tournament runner-up UCF in the semifinals. But the Knights scored a run in the sixth to tie the game and two in the seventh to win, 3-1.

McKinley went 2-for-5 with two runs scored and an RBI in the tournament. Memphis ended the year with a 25-26 overall record.

East Carolina won the tournament championship over UCF, 3-1 on Saturday afternoon.
