FRISCO, Texas - University of Memphis head softball coach Natalie Poole was selected to the Southland Conference all-time softball roster Thursday afternoon as the league commemorates its 50th Anniversary in 2013.

Poole, a three-time All-SLC First Team pick (1995-97) at catcher for McNeese State, is one of just 22 players in the league's 30-year history to have been named a first team selection at least three times during their career. More than 80 student-athletes were named to the prestigious roster.

At McNeese State, Poole helped the Cowgirls to a Southland Conference Title and the school's first NCAA Tournament appearance in 1994. She was named the team's MVP her senior season and concluded her career with a .296 batting average. She was also a two-time All-South Region selection (1996-97) and earned All-Louisiana honors in 1996.
