MEMPHIS - The University of Memphis softball team will host a fall exhibition doubleheader against Christian Brothers on Friday evening at Tiger Softball Complex. First pitch for game one is scheduled for 4 p.m. and game two will start at 6 p.m. Admission is FREE for all fans.

The Tigers are coming off of a 1-0 victory over Ole Miss on Wednesday night. In that contest, senior RHP Ellen Roberts threw a complete-game shutout, allowing just three hits and striking out five. Roberts has pitched 21 innings during the fall season and has yet to allow a run.

Two freshmen, Lindsay Crowdus are Brittany Vaughn, are leading the Tigers offensivelyso far this fall. Crowdus is hitting .500 (9-for-18) and has scored eight runs. Vaughn is batting .474 (9-for-19) with 10 RBI and four extra base hits.

The Tigers have a 5-1-1 records through seven exhibition games this fall. Memphis concludes fall play on Sunday as hosts of a three-team tournament with Rhodes College and Harding.
