The University of Memphis softball team will be honored at halftime of the Tigers' men's basketball game against Murray State at 5 p.m. on Sunday at FedExForum.

Memphis will be presented with its NCAA Tournament rings in a team ceremony prior to the game.

The Tigers received its first ever invite to the NCAA Tournament in 2011 after finishing the season 36-14 with a No. 44 ranking in the RPI. The .720 winning percentage was the best in the team's six-year history.

First year head coach Natalie Poole will guide the program into the 2012 season that begins on February 10 against Alabama at the Mardi Gras Invitational in Mobile, Ala. Poole and her assistants Andy Lott and Heather Mosser will also be introduced at Sunday's game.
