Tigers Head North for Three-Match Road Trip

After a 19-day break, the 59th-ranked Memphis Tigers' women's tennis team (2-1) will be back on the court with two contests on Friday, Feb. 10. At 9 a.m. CT the Blue and Gray face Wright State (0-4) in Dayton, Ohio, before traveling down the road to take on Cincinnati (0-5) at 5 p.m. CT.

Women's Tennis Climbs Five Spots in ITA Polls

The Memphis women's tennis team continued its climb in the national rankings, jumping five spots to No. 59 from its previous rank of 64th, according to the most recent polls released by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association on Tuesday.

Memphis Drops 6-1 Decision to Georgia Tech

The University of Memphis women's tennis team dropped its first match of the 2012 season to 13th-ranked Georgia Tech in a 4-1 decision. With the loss, Memphis falls to 2-1 and the Yellow Jackets now stand at 1-1 on the year.

Women's Tennis Downs Austin Peay, 7-0

The University of Memphis women's tennis team kept its perfect streak alive on Friday by taking out Austin Peay, 7-0. The 68th-ranked Tigers improve to 2-0 and have a clean record in all singles and doubles matchups through the first two duals of 2012, while the Governors fall to 0-2.
