Fall 2008: Defeated in the first round of the ITA Southeast Regional by 76th-ranked Austin Smith of North Carolina in a match that went three sets, Murdock won the second set but ultimately lost the match in a third set tiebreaker ... Bounced back in the consolation round with a win over Katarine Reveche of No. 42 ranked Wake Forest, 6-4, 6-1 ... Was victorious in her first round match at the Roberta Alison Fall Invite in Tuscaloosa, Ala., upending Samford's Taylor Morgan, 7-6(2), 7-5 ... Fell in her second round match to Alabama's Courtney McLane, 6-4, 6-0 ... Came back in the consolation bracket to defeat Mississippi State's Olesya Tsigvintseva, 6-2, 6-2 ... At the 2008 William & Mary Invitational, competed against some of the strongest competition in the nation...In her first round match, fell to No. 94 Katarina Zoricic of William & Mary, 6-3, 6-1 ... Defeated Cami Hubbs of Ohio State in the second round...Lost to No. 109 Bianca Eickhorn of Miami (Fla.), 6-3, 6-0 ... Redeemed herself upending Miami (Ohio)'s Anastasia Dracheva, 6-4, 6-3 ... Teamed with Marjorie Ondeck at the 2008 ITA Southeast Regional in Winston-Salem, N.C., advancing all the way to the semifinals of the doubles bracket...The tandem upended a doubles team from Campbell University in the first round...In the second round the pair defeated North Carolino's duo of Austin Smith and Meg Fanjoy, 8-3 ... The pair won 8-2 over Tennessee's tandem of Caitlin Whoriskey and Zsofia Zubor in the following round...In the fourth round, they defeated UNC Greensboro's Arielle Vonstrolley and Alejandra Guerra ... In the semifinal round the duo lost to North Carolina State's pair of Berkeley Brock and Lenka Hojckova, 8-1 ... Teamed with Sarah Irvin at the Ole Miss Fall Classic to upend Ole Miss' Mimi Renaudin and Laura van de Stroet, who had defeated the No. 3 team in the nation from Duke a week before ... Teamed with Ondeck to win two matches at the William & Mary Invitational in Williamsburg, Va., defeating Richmond's Erin Clark and Xenia Schneider, 8-6, and Elon's Anna Milian and Elisa Simonetti, 8-2.

Spring 2008: Named Second Team All-CUSA in her first season with the U of M ... Recorded 15 singles victories for the Tigers, placing her second on the team ... Was 15-4 in dual matches, for the most dual victories for the U of M in 2008 ... Posted a 9-4 mark at the No. 1 position ... Had a 4-0 split at the No. 2 spot ... Was 2-0 at the No. 4 singles position ... Teamed with Marjorie Ondeck for an overall doubles record of 9-7, two two were 6-6 at the No. 1 position and 3-1 at the No. 2 spot ... Partnered with Kristin Chamberlain for a 2-2 record at the No. 1, 2 and 3 positions ... Posted an overall 11-9 doubles mark.

2007-08 (Sophomore at LSU): Was 3-3 in singles at LSU prior to transferring to Memphis in January of 2008 ... Was also 1-2 in doubles at LSU in the fall of 2007.

2006-07 (Freshman at LSU): Lettered at LSU after posting a 9-7 record, including a 2-0 record at No. 4 singles, an 0-1 record at No. 5 and a 2-1 record at No. 6 ... Played No. 6 singles in matches against three different nationally-ranked teams, winning two of those matches.

Prep: Graduated from St. Agnes Academy in Memphis ... Was a four-star recruit by the St. Agnes outstanding athlete following her junior and senior seasons and was also a standout on the hardwood, earning four letters and first team, all-district honors in basketball ... Passed the 1,000 career point mark ... Named a Commercial Appeal Best of Preps finalist in basketball in 2005 ... Named to West Regional All-Tournament Team and was a two-time All-Metro performer and St. Agnes Basketball MVP after averaging 18 points per game as a senior ... Member of St. Agnes 2003 State Championship tennis team and the 2004 Runner-up squad ... Named All-Metro tennis all four seasons and went undefeated her senior year ... Won the Deerwood Grand Slam as a freshman and finished third in the Tennessee State Championships as a sophomore ...
