Spring 2007: Played in 16 of the 18 dual season matches as a sophomore, playing between No. 3 and 6 in the line-up...Was 0-15 during the spring after going 3-6 during the fall tournaments...Teamed with Amanda Brown for an 0-4 mark at No. 3 doubles...Also teamed with Katie-Mary Outhwaite for an 0-4 mark at No. 3 doubles.

Fall 2006: Was 3-6 in singles during the fall of 2006...Was 1-3 at the UALR tournament, winning her first singles match of the season with a 6-4, 6-1 win over Central Arkansas' Rebecca McCullough...Was 1-2at the Air Force Invitational, picking up her win over Air Force's Jennifer Walter, 3-6, 6-3, 10-4...Fell in the quarterfinals of the Memphis Invitational after defeating Stephen F. Austin's Nicole Schoenauer, 6-2, 6-3...Fell to Murray State's Lynsey Bochenek, 6-0, 6-3...Also teamed with freshman Amanda Brown in doubles for a 2-3 mark.

Spring 2006: Played in six singles matches and in seven doubles matches...Was 0-6 in singles, including an 0-5 mark at No. 6 singles...Teamed with fellow freshman Ekin Zafir at No. 3 doubles for four matches after going 0-1 with Alex Tjioe at No. 3 doubles and 0-2 with Christina Wieser at No. 3.

Fall 2005: Was 3-2 in singles during the fall...Opened her Lady Tiger career with a win over Alabama-Huntsville's Emily Taylor at the Chattanooga tournament...Won three of her first four matches, advancing to the quarterfinals at Chattanooga and to the Memphis tournament to end the fall semester...Finished as a runner-up at the Memphis tournament in both singles and doubles, and was a runner-up in doubles at the Alabama tournament...Played doubles during the fall with teammates from other programs as the Lady Tigers had an odd number of players on the roster.

Prep: Spent two years at Saddlebrook in Tampa before spending the last two seasons at the Pendleton School/Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Bradenton, Florida.....At Pendleton, Russo played in the Eddie Herr and Orange Bowl tournaments and has also played in ITF tournaments in Costa Rica, Guadaloupe, Barbadoes, El Salvador and Trinidad and Tobago...Advanced to the quarterfinals of the Brazilian Super National and has won the Copa NHR de Tenis and the Credicard Campos do Jordao and the Labor Day Championships...Also competed in the Bollettieri Championships and the Angela Maria Lopera.

Personal: Daughter of Marco Aurelio Russo and Maria Fernanda Russo...Born in Araras in the state of Sao Paulo, Brazil on January 10th, 1987...Majoring in International Relations...Enjoys scuba diving, spending time at home during vacations and spending time with friends and family...Also travelled to international tournaments and playing in national tournaments in Brazil.
