Andrew Solarski enters his fifth season as the manager for the University of Memphis men's and women's tennis teams. As a manager, he is responsible for stringing and maintaining all racquets as well as helping prepare for matches, practices and many other duties. While playing at Houston High School, Solarski competed at the No. 1 spot and helped lead the team to the state semifinals his junior year. Solarski was a member of the tennis team at Austin Peay State University from 2006-08. While there, he played No. 4-6 singles and No. 3 doubles. Solarski enrolled at the University of Memphis in 2008, and took over the duties as manager of the men's and women's tennis teams. Solarski graduated cum laude from the U of M in May 2011 with a bachelor's degree in political science. He is currently enrolled in the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at Memphis, and is expected to earn a degree in May 2014. |
