Junior (Spring 2001):
Westberg was named to the Conference USA Commissioner's
Honor Roll for having a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0...
She played at No. 5 singles during the spring, finishing with
a mark of 7-12...Westberg was also teamed with Betsy Card
at No. 2 doubles for the entire spring schedule, finishing
with a record of 9-11.
Fall 2000:
Westberg posted a singles record of 4-4 during the fall..She
fell to the only C-USA opponent she faced at Middle Tennessee
State when UAB's Tanja Pflugfelder defeated her 6-4, 3-6,
8-10...Westberg, a doubles specialist in the spring due to
injury, posted an outstanding doubles mark of 6-2 during the fall
when teamed with senior Betsy Card in Flight II doubles...The duo
went 3-1 at the tournament at SIU-Carbondale and won the
consolation title at Middle Tennessee State with an 8-4
win over Eastern Michigan's Clark/Lincaru...The team did not
participate in the Memphis tournament due to illness and
finished the fall, 6-2.
Sophomore (Spring 2000):
Teamed with senior Claire O'Donoghue for a 12-8 record at No. 3 doubles
for the Lady Tigers in the regular season.
Fall 1999:
Finished the fall season with a 7-5 overall singles record, including
a 3-3 record at No. 5 and a 4-2 record at No. 6...captured the consolation
championship at No. 6 singles in the University of Memphis/Varsity
Pro Shop Invitational...played doubles with two different partners in
the fall, finishing with an 0-1 record at No. 3 doubles with Kate
Borthwick and a 4-3 record at No. 3 doubles with Claire O'Donoghue.
Freshman (Spring 1999):
Finished with an 8-9 record in singles and a
13-6 record in doubles...Was 3-3 at No. 5 singles and 5-5 at No.
6...Was 12-5 at No. 3 doubles, including a 9-4 record doubles record
with Claire O'Donoghue.
Prep: Graduated from Harnosands Gymnasium in Harnosand, Sweden...
Was ranked in the top 200 in Sweden...Played in the Swedish
Championships in both 1996 and 1997...Finished third at the No. 2
position, and third in doubles at the No. 1 position...Also finished
in third place singles and doubles in the 1997 Elite Series, playing
No. 3 singles and No. 2 doubles.
