Spring 2007: Zafir played in all 18 of the team's dual season matches, sporting a record of 0-17 in spring singles and 2-24 overall...The sophomore played all over in the Lady Tigers' line-up due to injuries, playing five matches at No. 1, one at No. 2 and 11 matches at No. 3...Also taemed with Dara Toulch for a 3-7 mark in doubles, including a 1-1 mark at No. 1...Was 4-9 in doubles when teamed with Christina Wieser, including a 1-2 mark at No. 1 and a 3-7 mark at No. 2...Was also 0-1 at No. 1 with Marjorie Ondeck during the spring.

Fall 2006: Was 3-8 in singles during the fall semester...Went 1-3 at the season-opening UALR tournament, picking up her singles victory over Central Arkansas' Charissa Colclough, 0-6, 6-4, 6-2...Was 0-4 at the Air Force tournament..Lost her opening match in the Memphis tournament to Southern Illinois' Michele Cruise, 7-5, 6-0, before bouncing back with a 6-4, 6-1 win over Murray State's Anne Pennington...Fell in the consolation semifinals to Ball State's Jennifer Pollack in straight sets...Teamed with freshman Dara Toulch for a 2-4 mark in doubles during the fall.

Spring 2006: Played in all 19 dual singles matches during the spring semester, carrying a 1-18 overall record...Was 1-12 at No. 4 singles and 0-5 at No. 3...Teamed with three different doubles partners, going 3-10 with Kristin Noble...That duo was 2-7 at No. 2 doubles and 1-3 at No. 3...Also teamed with fellow freshman Ekin Zafir for an 0-4 mark at No. 3 doubles...Was 0-1 at No. 2 doubles with Christina Wieser.

Fall 2005: Went 5-3 in singles and 3-4 in doubles during her first college semester...Won her first collegiate title at the Alabama tournament, winning the consolation title and having to face teammate Flavia Russo in the championship match...Dropped her first collegiate match, then won three straight matches...Teamed with Brooke Cowie in doubles play, winning three of their first four matches together and advancing to the semifinals at Alabama.

Prep: Played her prep tennis at Pendleton School in Bradenton, Florida, where she attended the IMG/Nick Bolliteri academy...Has lived in the United States since age 11...Played in the ITF's Eddie Herr and Orange Bowl tournaments, and in Cosat tournaments in Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and Barbados.
