MEMPHIS, Tenn.--The Lady Tigers completed the weekend undefeated in their three-match home stand after downing Troy and Lipscomb in back-to-back matches on Saturday at The Racquet Club of Memphis, both in 7-0 decisions.

At singles, the Lady Tigers posted a flawless mark on the weekend, a perfect 18-0 verses UT-Martin, Troy and Lipscomb opponents, and did it in dominating fashion. The only match not decided in two sets was between freshman Stefanie Mikesz and Leonie Guijt of Troy, who went to super-tiebreaker after splitting the first two sets. Mikesz fought hard to upend Guijt 4-6, 7-5, 10-7.

The Blue and Gray nearly pulled off the same feat in doubles play, dropping only one match against the Trojans. Memphis snagged wins at No. 2 and 3 doubles, securing the first point in their victory, before Mikesz and junior Mariya Slupska fell to Kara Jackson and Bellini at the No. 1 slot in a tiebreaker, 9-8 (7-5).

The U of M women's tennis program is back in action on Saturday, Feb. 5, when it travels to Nashville, Tenn., to take on No. 37 Princeton at 4 p.m. at Vanderbilt University.
