OXFORD, Miss. - The University of Memphis women's tennis team fell to 0-2 on the season with a 7-0 loss to No. 36 Ole Miss, Sunday, in a non-conference match.

Memphis battled for the doubles point, with all three matches being won by Ole Miss, 8-6.

Sophomores Viktoria Gruber and Marlene Dirnstorfer had the closest contended-matches of the afternoon, with both players dropping their first sets 6-3 and their second sets 6-2.

The Lady Tigers remain on the road with eight more road matches, starting Thursday at Arkansas-Little Rock.
