MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Despite Amanda Brown's win at No. 4 singles, the Lady Tiger tennis team fell to 0-2 on the season with a 6-1 loss to Murray State, Friday.

The match was close beginning with doubles. The Racers won the No. 3 doubles match 8-2, then claimed the No. 1 doubles match, 8-4. The No. 2 doubles match was knotted at 7-7 and went to a tiebreak, which was won by Murray State, 11-9.

The Racers then won five of the six singles matches in straight sets, but freshman Amanda Brown battled back from a 6-4 first set loss to win the second set 6-3 before her opponent retired from the match, conceding the match to Brown.
