Ole Miss' Erin Stephens and Iris Verboven helped the Rebels take an early advantage with an 8-3 win at No. 1 over the No. 38 duo of Alyssa Hibberd and Caroline Wegner. Memphis responded as Marta Morga and Liza Tymchenko defeated Zalina Khairudinova and Julia Jones, 8-3, at No. 3 to hand the duo their first loss in dual play. However, the Rebels clinched the doubles point as Caroline Rohde-Moe and Marija Milutinovic won 8-3 over Stefanie Mikesz and Anki Wind at No. 2 to give Ole Miss a 1-0 lead.
