TROY, Ala. - The University of Memphis women's tennis team fell to 4-4 on the season with a 6-1 loss at Troy State, Friday.

Troy State swept all three doubles matches to go up 1-0 early, then won singles matches one thru five to decide the match. Lady Tiger freshman Alex Tjioe picked up Memphis' only point with a 6-3, 6-4 win over Luz-Angela Garcia.

The Lady Tigers will stay in Troy to face East Tennessee State, Saturday at noon.
