NEW ORLEANS, La.-- - The University of Memphis women's tennis team (5-6, 1-0 C-USA) fell to host University of New Orleans, 6-1, in the second day of the UNO Tournament, Saturday.

Memphis won the No. 1 doubles match, but fell 8-1 and 8-4 in the other two doubles matches to fall behind 1-0 in the match. Senior Marlene Dirnstorfer then won the No. 1 singles match, 7-6 (5), 7-5, but that was the only point the Lady Tigers could wrap up, as Memphis dropped the No. 5 and 6 singles matches in three sets, while Andrea Feichtinger came back from a 6-3 first set loss to push her No. 3 singles opponent before falling 7-5.
