MEMPHIS, TENN. - The University of Memphis women's tennis team (11-11) finished the 2004 regular season with a 4-1 win over Arkansas State in a Conference USA tune-up, Monday.

The match was forced inside due to rain, so the two teams only played singles, with the Lady Tigers prevailing in the top three singles before sophomore Kristin Noble posted a 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 5 singles to seal the match in Memphis' favor.

The Lady Tigers will open the Conference USA Women's Tennis Championship with a 3 p.m. match against USF in the first round of the tournament, Thursday.
