The University of Memphis women's tennis team's season came to an end with a 4-0 loss to No. 7 seeded UCF in first round action at the Conference USA women's tennis championships Thursday afternoon. The loss wraps up the first season for head coach Lee Taylor Walker, with a 9-13 overall record, an eight-match improvement over last season and the most Lady Tiger tennis victories in a season since the 2003-04 season.
Memphis came up short in the doubles matches, falling at No. 2 and 3 doubles before UCF closed out the win with singles victories at No. 2, 3 and 5 singles.
