MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Memphis women's tennis team claimed two tournament titles at the Middle Tennessee Fall Invitational, Sunday. Sophomore Christina Wieser picked up her first career title with a 1-6, 6-4, 10-7 win in the C consolation singles bracket, while the doubles tandem of senior Marlene Dirnstorfer and freshman Brooke Cowie, downed the Chattanooga duo of Lindsey Ballard and Bonnie Adams, 8-2, to win the A Doubles crown. It was the first doubles title of the year for the Lady Tigers.

Wieser and the Lady Tigers will return home for their own home tournament, beginning Friday on the University of Memphis courts located on the corner of Echles and Spottswood.
