MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The University of Memphis women's tennis team (1-1) will play a pair of non-conference contests this weekend, beginning with a Saturday contest against UT Martin at Murray State University in Kentucky.

The Skyhawks are coming in off a 4-3 win over Lipscomb, while Memphis is trying to get back into the win column following a 6-1 loss to Tennessee Tech last weekend.

Junior Alex Tjioe is the lone Lady Tiger with an unblemished singles mark after going 2-0 at No. 6 singles through the first two non-conference matches. Tjioe downed Evgenia Yartseva, 6-0, 6-0, last weekend. She and doubles teammate Christina Wieser are also perfect on the season, with a pair of victories at No. 3 doubles.

Memphis will then face host Murray State. This will be the Racers first match of the spring, but some of the Lady Tigers should know the Murray State lineup, as the Racers participated in the U of M's Fall Invitational back in October. The Sunday match will begin at 10 a.m.

Memphis will then return home next weekend to host Southeast Louisiana on Feb. 18th.
