MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The No. 32 University of Memphis women's tennis team (13-4) wraps up its regular season home slate this Saturday when the Lady Tigers host Conference USA opponents UTEP (10-9) and Southern Miss (0-15) for Senior Day at The Racquet Club of Memphis.

Seniors Courtney Collins, Kelly Gray and Tiffany Welcher will be honored following doubles play against Southern Miss as they play their final regular season home matches as Lady Tigers. Memphis will take on UTEP outdoors at 9:30 a.m. before facing USM indoors at 4:30 p.m.

Last weekend, Memphis posted its fifth-straight shutout with a 5-0 win over South Alabama and a 7-0 victory over Southern Illinois to extend its home court winning streak to 31 matches. Collins moved into a tie for second in career singles wins at the University of Memphis after picking up her 91st win. Skylar Kuykendall improved to a team-best 25-6 record while Alyssa Hibberd won her fifth-straight match for a 22-8 mark this season. Liza Tymchenko became the third Lady Tiger to reach 20 wins this season with her victory over Southern Illinois to move to 20-11.

Scouting the Opponents

UTEP enters Saturday's match with a 10-9 record having dropped three of its last five matches. Memphis will be the second ranked Division I team the Miners have faced this season, losing to then-No. 20 Texas Tech, 7-0, last week in Lubbock, Texas. UTEP has faced one similar opponent as Memphis in Illinois State, who the Miners beat 6-1 at home in late February. Rebeca Calvillo is the winningest Miner this season with an 18-4 record and a 10-2 mark at No. 1 singles. Marie LeBlond and Gabi Vazquez lead UTEP in doubles wins with a 13-4 record this year at No. 2.

Southern Miss has yet to pick up a win this season, coming into the weekend with an 0-15 record. The Golden Eagles faced a similar opponent to Memphis in South Alabama, who defeated USM 6-1 in early February. Alexus Coats is on a four-match winning streak at No. 1 singles to compile a 4-5 mark this season.

Series Notes
The Lady Tigers have a 3-5 all-time record against UTEP, winning the last two meetings in 2011 with 5-2 and 4-0 victories. Lee Taylor Walker is 3-1 against the Miners with his only loss coming in 2009 by a score of 4-1.Memphis is 2-0 against UTEP at home.

Memphis has posted an 18-12 record against Southern Miss dating back to 1985 with a 10-4 mark against the Golden Eagles on its home court. Walker is 4-2 versus USM with a three-match winning streak since 2010. Last season, the Lady Tigers easily handled the Golden Eagles with a 6-1 victory in Hattiesburg.

This is Our House
The Lady Tigers have dominated opponents that have come to play in Memphis over the past few seasons. Memphis owns a 31-match home winning streak that spans back to Apr. 9, 2009 when the Lady Tigers fell to Arkansas State, 6-1, in their last home match of the season. Under head coach Lee Taylor Walker, the Lady Tigers are 43-6 at home.

Memphis in the Rankings
Memphis received its highest ranking in school history on Feb. 26 when the Lady Tigers came in at No. 22 in the nation after jumping 17 spots in the poll. Memphis ranked No. 32 in the latest ITA poll.

Courtney Collins is ranked No. 34 in singles with an 11-5 record in dual matches this season. Collins also ranks in doubles with Kelly Gray at No. 51 in the nation, while the German duo of Stefanie Mikesz and Caroline Wegner are No. 64.

Kuykendall's Court
Freshman Skylar Kuykendall has posted a 25-6 record in her first season at Memphis with just three of her wins going to three sets. The Alabama native has recorded a 9-1 mark in her last ten matches with her only loss coming in a three-set tiebreaker. Kuykendall is closing in on the program's single-season singles wins record of 32, which was set during the 1981-82 season by Stacy Seamans.

Upperclassmen Making History
Collins moved into a tie for second in career singles wins at the University of Memphis after her two wins last weekend. Collins enters Saturday's matches with a 91-40 record, and needs just seven more victories to break Stacy Seamans' (1979-83) record of 97. Junior Stefanie Mikesz entered the top-10 in career singles wins three weeks ago, and is now tied for eighth with 62 career wins.

In doubles, Kelly Gray is fifth in the school record books with 77 career wins. Collins has tallied 74 during her career for sixth, while Mikesz is eighth with 61 wins.

Upcoming Matches
Memphis will wrap up the regular season with matches against No. 16 Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind., on Apr. 7 before heading west to Oklahoma to face No. 29 Tulsa on Apr. 14.
