MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The U of M women's tennis team move up one spot in this week's ITA rankings and now stands at No. 56 in the country. Memphis also placed several individuals and one doubles team in the rankings this week.

Courtney Collins is the highest-ranked Tiger in singles, standing at No. 32. The junior from Fulton, Miss., is 14-2 in singles play and is 2-1 against nationally ranked opponents.

Mariya Slupska and Stefanie Mikesz join Collins in the rankings at Nos. 80 and 86, respectively. Slupska sports a 15-3 mark this season, while Mikesz is 16-2. Tiffany Welcher, the reigning Conference USA Player of the Week, slid out of the rankings after checking in at No. 119 in the last poll.

Welcher, however, is still ranked in doubles with partner Alyssa Hibberd. The 59th-ranked tandem owns a record of 9-3 on the year, which includes a 2-1 mark against ranked-doubles teams.

The Tigers have been listed in every poll this season, reaching a program-best No. 53 on Feb. 22. Memphis is currently 15-3 with one match remaining, a Conference USA tilt at Tulsa on Sunday, April 15 at noon (CT).
