MEMPHIS, Tenn. - After finishing the regular-season 15-4 (2-1 C-USA), Memphis earned the No. 4 seed in the Conference USA Women's Tennis Championship. The Tigers are hosting the tournament at the Dunavant-Wellford Tennis Center on the campus of MUS from April 19-22.

Memphis will face the winner of Thursday's first round match between No. 5 Marshall (12-9) and No. 12 UTEP (2-17). The match is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. (CT) on Friday.

The Tigers 15 wins included three against ranked opponents, No. 65 Columbia, No. 49 Princeton and No. 67 Kansas State. All four losses by the U of M were to teams ranked 26th or higher, No. 13 Georgia Tech, No. 6 Georgia, No. 18 Vanderbilt and No. 26 Tulsa.

The Blue and Gray have a potential semifinal matchup with Tulsa. Memphis dropped its final-regular-season match at Tulsa, 2-5.
