MEMPHIS, Tenn. - In the final ITA standings of the 2012 season released on Tuesday, the Memphis women's tennis team was ranked No. 60. With its ranking in the final poll, the U of M was ranked in all but one poll this season and achieved a program-best No. 51 on March 27.

Memphis posted a 16-5 record on the season, with all five losses coming to programs ranked 26th or higher. The Blue and Gray finished fourth in the Conference USA regular season and earned the program's first semifinal appearance in the C-USA Championship.

Four different Tigers, Courtney Collins, Stefanie Mikesz, Mariya Slupska and Tiffany Welcher, were ranked in singles during the season, with Collins, Mikesz and Slupska appearing in each poll released. Welcher and partner Alyssa Hibberd appeared in each of the doubles rankings.
