Baker joins the cross country team after a brilliant career with the University of Memphis Women's Soccer team...Baker will add experience and her savvy as a four-year athlete in the U of M athletic department will benefit the freshmen and sophomores on the track team.
2003: CROSS COUNTRY-Finished 24th at the Memphis Twilight Classic with a time of 12:30.60 (2-mile)...Was the Lady Tigers highest finisher at the Notre Dame Invitational posting a 20:00.00 in the 5K race...Finished 61st at the C-USA Championships running a 24:05.80 in the 6K...Ran a 23:35.82 at the NCAA South Regional.
1999-2002: SOCCER-As a midfielder for Memphis she scored 17 career goals, accumulated 44 points, played in 75 games, started 67 games and made Third-Team All C-USA as a senior in 2002...Played with the United States Under-23 National Amateur squad in March of 2002 for two exhibition matches against Women's United Soccer Association (WUSA) teams the San Diego Spirit and San Jose CyberRays.
PREP: Attended Henry Wise H.S...Played for Alberta Select team and Foothills Soccer Club...High School did not sponsor a team...Captain of the gold medal winning Alberta Select side at 1999 All-Star Championships in Granby, Quebec...Also received gold medal during 1995 Alberta Summer Games...Led track and field and field hockey teams to city championships...
