2009 Indoor: Competed in three indoor meets, finishing top-10 in each meet...Finished fourth in the 55m dash at the SEMO Invite where she set a personal-best time of 7.34...Finished sixth in the 60m dash at the SIU McDonald's meet...Set a personal-best 60m dash time of 7.56 in the prelims at the C-USA Championships...Finished first in the 200m dash at the SEMO Invite with a personal-best time of 26.08.
Prior to Memphis: A member of the track and field team at Barton County Community College...Was a NJCAA All-American in the 200m dash...Placed second at the NJCAA National Championships in the 200m dash.
Prep: Attended O.D. Wyatt H.S. in Fort Worth, Texas...Competed in the sprints and relays for the track and field team...Was a regional and district champion.
Personal: Daughter of Phyllis Horton...Activities include running and hanging out with friends.
