Competed in sprints for the Lady Tigers as a freshman...Had four top-eight finishes in the 55m and 60m dashes...Was fourth with a season-best 7.20 second mark in the 55m dash at the Redhawk Invite...Finished fifth in the 60m dash at the Hoosier Hills Invite with a season-best 7.81 mark.

Competed at Austin-East High School...Won the state championship in 2008 for the 200m and was state runner-up in 100m and 400m... Lettered in basketball, track and soccer...Was a part of the state champion basketball team in 2008.
