1998-99: Competed in just the 400 for both the indoor and
outdoor seasons...Posted an indoor season-best time of 59.65 at
the Arkansas State Invite and an outdoor best time of 57.88 at
Ole Miss, where she finished sixth...Ross finished second at the
Big Cat Classic with a time of 58.95...Was also a member of the
indoor 4x400 meter relay team that set a school record with a time
of 3:57.24.
Prep: Ross, a standout athlete at Haywood High School, adds
depth to the Lady Tiger middle distances and relays...She placed eighth
in the state 400m finals and set personal bests of 58.87 in the 400 and 5-2 in
the high jump as a senior...Ross also earned two letters in both
volleyball and basketball.
